If you are a first home buyer real estate terminology can be confusing. Often I am asked what is exchange of contracts. This legally completes the property sale process. It means the seller has accepted your offer on the home and you both have signed your individual Contract of Sale at your solicitors office (when possible). Then these two Contracts are exchanged.
When you are at inspections you are entitled to ask the real estate agent any questions about the property. Such as, has the property a current building and pest inspection, and if so, has there been anything issues discovered about the property that may influence your decision to buy.
Looking at real estate over a long period of time can start to become exhausting and frustrating. You think you will never find the right property to buy. Then you look at one more property everything changes. So how do you know you've finally found your home? You feel it in your heart
Good news for buying a home in the Southern Highlands today. The Southern Highlands, which includes the towns of Bowral, Berrima, Mittagong and Moss Vale, had a 2 per cent drop in property values in the past three months, driving average growth in regional areas down to just 0.1 per cent. That compares with average growth in the cities of 1 per cent over the period, the CoreLogic data shows.
